We cruise over to the Marshall House on Little St. George Island and hike the 1 ½ miles across the island. Your well-informed
guide will teach you the fascinating history of the lighthouse, Marshall House and the surrounding area.
Cost: $65 per person or $375 per boat
Sunset Tour – An 1 ¼ powerboat trip to Nick’s Hole.
On this economical tour we will whisk you and your party over to our favorite oyster bar at sunset to look for birds and dolphins.
Your guide will help you hog up some oysters to eat while watching the sunset over the bay.
Cost: $30 per person or $180 per boat
Beginning Kayak Lesson – A 2 hour kayak lesson and birding tour.
We will put our kayaks in at the base of the St. George Island bridge and do a basic introduction to kayaking. You will learn the
proper techniques for entering and exiting a kayak, correct paddle strokes and the equipment needed for safe paddling among
other things. We will then paddle east along the marsh grass looking for bird life.
Cost: $35 per person
Tour of Dwarf Cypress Swamp – A 3 hour tour of Dwarf Cypress Swamp and Sandy Beach Lookout in Blount’s Bay. A
master naturalist will escort you on a driving tour, with a short hike at the Dwarf Cypress swamp, in Tate’s Hell State Forest and
Sandy Beach Lookout.
Cost: $30 per person
Fort Gadsden and Hickory Landing – A 5-hour tour that includes lunch.
This trip, also led by a master naturalist, is a driving tour that includes stops at the Dwarf Cypress Swamp in Tate’s Hell State
Forest, Sandy Beach Lookout, Fort Gadsden and Hickory Landing.
Cost: $65 per person
Shelling Trip – A 3-hour shelling trip to Little St. George Island.
A trip to the Government Cut, also known as Bob Sikes Cut, between St. George Island and Little St. George Island. Your guide
will drop you on the beach in the “Cut” to hunt for shells and other natural gems. Evening trips will watch the sunset at Nick’s Hole.
