Captain Clint Taylor is Journeys deep sea captain. Clint takes charters out in his 28 foot Contender. The boat has a head and plenty of deck space for everyone to fish for the big one. Clint’s enthusiasm seldom wanes and this produces an unforgettable charter for those of you who book him. Clint will also do boat tours of the bay. Captain Randy is a native born Floridian who was raised on the water and has spent thousands of days fishing and scuba diving. He is a well known light tackle and fly fishing guide through out the Florida big bend region. He was a co-host of the popular fishing show “The Big Bend Angler.” Captain Randy’s instructional fishing seminars have helped many anglers to improve their fishing technique. His years of experience on Florida’s waters have made him a wonderful fishing guide.
The picture says it all! Fishing with Captain Larry is never dull. Captain Larry is a Franklin County native. Raised on Apalachicola Bay with over 25 years of experience as a tournament angler, winning two Florida federation titles. Growing up he accompanied his father on commercial fishing trips, learning the best fishing spots, oyster bars and reefs the Apalachicola Bay has to offer. He is a proud veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Army.
Captain Paul was born and raised here in Franklin County and has spent his life on the Apalachicola Bay. He has been guiding for 17 years. His experience and excitement will ensure your day on the Apalachicola Bay is a life long memory. When he’s not fishing, Paul enjoys hunting the surrounding areas and spending time with his three children.
Captain Jeremy has been with Journeys of SGI for 10 years, his enthusiasm and knowledge of the area and fishing keeps his boat booked with happy clients. Captain Jeremy studied to be a herpetologist (study of reptiles) and he travels all over the US in the off season fighting wildfires. Book a trip with Captain Jeremy and you will not be disappointed.

Captain Dave is a Florida boy who was born in Clearwater and spent his life on and around the Gulf of Mexico. Dave is a charter fisherman who has spent some time commercial fishing. He holds a USCG 6-pack license and is a sailing instructor, as well as a dedicated member of the St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department. Dave is a fun captain that you’ll enjoy a great sailing experience with!
Capt. Russ is a Master 100 ton captain, a certified dive instructor and the manager of the power boat and sailboat rentals. Russ is a knowledgeable captain that will show you the beauty of our pristine bay and river. His dolphin cruises are an experience to remember. After an extended walk about Dayle has returned to the Journeys family. She has been an exploring resident of St. George Island for 20 years, in this time Dayle has become an ACA certified kayak instructor and a go to for the ins and outs of the beautiful Forgotten Coast. Dayle loves to educate the youngest of the young and the not so young about the gorgeous nature all around St. George. If she is not in the shop she is up a river (with a paddle) leading a guided kayak trip. Come by and say G-day!
Captain Jesse is our newest Captain and is ready to take you and your family on an exciting nature experience on the bay. He is a native of Franklin County and has been an oysterman for the past 22 years. His boat is setup to show you and your family the bounty that the Apalachicola bay holds. Captain Jesse is a family man that enjoys nature.
